Noticeboard
The AIP website has carried a ‘Forum' section for members, where it was possible to follow threads of discussion and take part yourself. Unfortunately the forum was disbanded following heavy infiltration of obscene messages. We hope to put a new forum in place shortly. In the meantime it would be helpful if you are interested in joining the forum, if you would send your name and email address to me on jor@bacp.co.uk and I will make sure that your names are added as soon as a safe vehicle is found for this service.

If you remain uncertain, then perhaps you would be interested in finding members near to where you practise (but not too near, of course) to form a support group. You might want to use some form of benchmarking of your clients, using the web, but have been put off by the costs. It is very possible to form a group who can purchase a licence for a benchmarking programme which because it is web based means that the group members can be from anywhere that has access to the internet and is willing to pay a share.

If you have good ideas for things that it would be interesting or useful, or both, to have on our site, let me know and if at all possible I can try to incorporate them into the current pages, or start a new page.

If you have now written your clinical will and are prepared to share it (heavily disguised of course) or tell us what you had to do to complete it, I know a great many members would love to hear about it.

'Have you made a clinical will?'

Sally Despenser’s article ‘Have you made a clinical will?’ (Therapy Today, Sept 08) is available to purchase on the Therapy Today website.  For more information please visit: www.therapytoday.net

Also, this article relates to an online learning module written by Sally for BACP.  To take this course or to find out more about online learning please visit the BACP Online Learning System .
